Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

Journeys by Mark LLC (“Journeys by Mark,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates journeysbymark.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

When you submit our journey-planning inquiry form, we may collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your telephone number, if provided
  • The destination or type of journey you are considering
  • Your anticipated travel dates or timeframe
  • Other information you voluntarily include in your message

We may also retain information you provide through subsequent email or telephone communications. Our hosting provider may automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser or device type, access time, and security or diagnostic logs.

Please do not submit passport numbers, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through the website inquiry form.

How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Discuss and develop potential travel plans
  • Communicate with you about requested services
  • Maintain appropriate business records
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell personal information collected through this website. We do not use inquiry information for unrelated promotional email unless you separately request or consent to those communications.

Travel Planning and Bookings

Journeys by Mark LLC provides travel-advisory services through Mark Cepaitis, an independent travel advisor of Fora Travel.

Submitting an inquiry does not create a booking or contractual relationship. If you later engage Journeys by Mark for travel-planning or booking services, we may need to collect additional traveler information.

Information necessary to research, reserve, or manage travel may be shared with our host agency, Fora Travel, and appropriate travel suppliers such as hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, insurance providers, and transportation companies. Those organizations process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Website Forms and Email

Our inquiry form is provided through Fluent Forms. Submitted entries may be stored within our WordPress website database and delivered to us by email through our configured email-delivery service.

We use FluentSMTP to route form notifications. Website and email services are hosted or supported by Northwest Registered Agent and its service providers.

Backups

We use UpdraftPlus to create website backups, including database and form-entry information. Backup copies may be stored in a secured Google Drive account and may remain there until they are deleted or replaced under our backup-retention practices.

Cookies and Technical Information

The website and its hosting platform may use cookies or similar technology needed for basic operation, security, form functionality, and administrative access.

We do not currently use the website to conduct behavioral advertising or sell information for targeted advertising. If we add analytics, advertising, or other technologies that materially change our data practices, this policy will be updated.

How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, deliver email, maintain backups, provide travel-planning services, or fulfill a request you make.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or regulatory requirements; protect our rights or security; or investigate suspected fraud or misuse.

We do not authorize service providers acting on our behalf to use information supplied through our inquiry form for their own unrelated marketing. Travel suppliers may process traveler information under their own privacy policies and terms.

How Long We Retain Information

We retain inquiry submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide requested services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete or anonymize it. Residual copies may remain temporarily in secured backups until those backups are replaced or deleted.

Information Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. However, no website, email system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices and Requests

You may contact us to:

  • Ask what personal information we maintain about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of information we are not legally or operationally required to retain
  • Withdraw from optional promotional communications

Send privacy-related requests to info@journeysbymark.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for adults seeking travel-planning services. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this website.

Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to websites operated by travel suppliers or other third parties. Journeys by Mark is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of those external websites.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
