If you want a resort that still feels fresh rather than well-worn, this is the kind of property to look at.

The food is what stood out most. Multiple à la carte restaurants, genuinely different cuisines rather than the same buffet dressed up five ways, and a level of quality that held up across the whole stay — not just the first night.

The vibe was laid-back rather than a big-scene resort. The pools are smaller and more scattered around the property instead of one massive centerpiece pool, which meant we were never fighting for a chair or wading through a crowd. If you’re picturing a quieter, more relaxed all-inclusive rather than a high-energy one, that’s exactly what this delivers.

Evenings had their own personality too — a Spanish colonial-style plaza anchors the property, with live music and open-air dining that gives the resort a real sense of place after dark, not just a pool deck that empties out at sunset.

The rooms — and what I’d change

We split into two suite types, which turned out to be a useful comparison:
